The Broward County Board of Rules and Appeals is providing, as a public service, a listing of High Velocity Hurricane
Zone compliant windows which qualify for the US Government energy tax rebates which are valid until December 31,
2010. This information is at no cost to the consumer, building official, contractors and the window manufacturer. We will
add additional green products as we receive notifications. Each window listed has a Florida Product Approval number, or
a Miami Dade NOA (Notice of Acceptance) marking, or both, and the manufacturer’s written certification that the product
qualifies for the US Government energy star rebate is on file. The consumer or contractor needs to verify the product
eligibility before purchasing. We are providing this information as “green” products are difficult to locate on the website of
Product Approval agencies. The above data is being forwarded to each building official in Broward County as a
professional courtesy, and is not binding on building departments.
