THE WSDC WOULD LIKE TO PRESENT TO YOU THE UNDERLINING
INFORMATION CONCERNING OUR COUNTRY’S WELL-BEING TOWARDS
THE THREAT OF THE YERSINIA PESTIS BACTERIA SPREADING
THROUGHOUT LARGELY POPULATED AREAS, SUCH AS EAU CLAIRE
Wisconsin State
Disease Control
BUBONIC PLAGUE
REVIVAL
WHAT IS OCCURRING?
• Yersinia pestis bacteria outbreak: what is also
known as the “Black Death”
• Accelerated spread across cities and states
• Life threatening symptoms are causing severe
health issues once the body has been infected with
Yersinia pestis
• Infected bodies are becoming uncontrollable,
mental states are being lost
YERSINIA PESTIS
• Severe bacteria that has claimed 30-40% of the
population three different times in history
• A bacterium that has the ability to enter and live in any
host cells, the bacterium cannot be extracted without
proper equipment (yet to be determined)
• Bacteria commonly found on fleas has taken a new leap
onto a multitude of mammals (dogs, cats, squirrels,
raccoons, etc.)
RAPID SPREAD
• 14% of United States has been fully infected by the
virus
• There has been a 6% increase of rapidity over the
past four months
• The virus has been known to jump from animal to
human in a matter of seconds
• Symptoms begin to show within 24 hours (after
bitten)
• Infection begins to fully set in after a 4 day period
SYMPTOMS
• The following symptoms should be checked every
3-4 hours
1. Cramps
2. Fever
3. Vomiting
4. Headache
5. Chills
• The brain suffers a partial decay during this process
evolving into a “zombie affect”
“ZOMBIE AFFECT”
• If there are any shown symptoms throughout the 24
hour window, the following affects will be showing
soon after
1. Skin decay
2. Rotting teeth (falling out)
3. Pus filled tears
4. Balding
• The brain decay occurs last
• The decay produces a “reality flip”
REALITY FLIP
• A portion of the brain that decays experiences
delusions and hallucinations affecting how they
perceive reality
• The right temporal lobe is the section that causes
the hallucinations
• Delusions include, uninfected people appearing to
be infected
• For example: When someone is finally infected and begin to
experience hallucinations, the brain shows them uninfected
people who appear to be infected to them; hence the
reality flip
• Because of this flip, the hallucinations cause them to go into
survival mode against the “uninfected people”
REMOVING INFECTED FLEAS
• To remove a flea from your home or pet, it is
important to remember how quickly the virus
spreads after a bite
• Medical removal is preferable, call family doctor
immediately for assistance
• Natural disinfectants cause
no effect
• Stronger grip to skin has been
found when trying to detach

• All data has been discontinued due to mental instability
with dose
EXPERIMENTAL TREATMENT CONT.
• Scientists were making progress with a formulated
drug to assist with the affects from flea bites
• After years of research and experimentation, signs
of mental instability and hallucinations to the drug
were brought forth
• The research team discontinued the drug
immediately before it could be sold to the public
• A fellow researcher, Dr. Benjamin Quell, was
arrested for the illegal use and concealment of the
discontinued drug
• Dr. Quell continued with the drug in hopes to research the
mental affects on the patients without their consent or
knowledge
INFECTION & MENTAL STATE
• From a compromised temporal lobe, the brain
experiences an altered state of mind
• The infection causes the brain to react towards healthy
people (“reality flip”)
• After the arrest of Dr. Quell, the drug was spread throughout
Illinois sparking the epidemic
• The drug found its way across state lines, creeping up
towards Wisconsin and over to Ohio where more cases
were discovered
• No official cure has been found to reverse the effects on
victims once bitten, funding has been stopped and
research postponed
• The need for more doctors on board with WSDC would
benefit research with medical experience and input
NEEDED DOCTORS
• The assistance of doctors across the country aids
the populations survival rate
• Frightened families seek help from hospitals, doctors
need to be aware and knowledgeable
• Understand the history and the affects of Yersinia
Pestis before it arrives in your town
