HELSINKI – THE PEARL
OF THE BALTIC SEA
The NRC9 conference will be held at
the Marina Congress Center in the very
heart of Helsinki, known as the pearl
of the Baltic Sea. The Marina center
is located on the waterfront facing the
beautiful central harbor, where large
ferries leave for Stockholm, Tallin and
St.Petersburg. The old market square,
the Presidential Palace and the Helsinki
Cathedral, just to mention only a few
of the nearby attractions that are only a
few minutes’ walk from the center.
THE CONFERENCE
The 2016 International Conference on Nuclear and Radiochemistry is a member
in a series of conferences organized since 1984, the first one having been in Lindau,
Germany. The ninth conference – NRC9 – will be organized in Helsinki, the capital
of Finland. The conference is organized by the Laboratory of Radiochemistry,
University of Helsinki, on behalf of the Nuclear and Radiochemistry Division of
EuCheMS.
The conference will cover all topics of nuclear and radiochemistry, including
