Find the Greatest Common Factor (GCF) between the two numbers. 2. Divide the GCF into both numbers. 3. Check to make sure that the ratio is simplified. Let’s Find the GCF! Simplify both ratios and see if they are equal! 1. Are 8:24 and 7:21 equivalent ratios? 2. Is the ratio 5 inches to 3 feet equivalent to the ratio 12 inches to 5 feet? (hint: there are 12 inches in 1 foot) Let’s See if we have Equivalent Ratios!
