FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 23 April 2014 Let’s All Dance to stage its UK premiere of The Magic Word ballet for children at Riverside Studios this June London based dance company Let’s All Dance is delighted to open its new touring ballet, The Magic Word, for young audiences at Riverside Studios this June. After multiple sell-out shows in a successful 12-venue tour last year, Let’s All Dance returns with another family fun production, specifically designed for children aged three to nine. Opening on Friday 27 June 2014, The Magic Word officially tours from June 2014 – December 2014. Dates at Riverside Studios include the 27th, 28th and 29th June, with the 1:30pm show on 27th June specifically for children from schools, nurseries, and community centres. Orit Sutton, Let’s All Dance Founder, says: Parents, teachers and, most importantly, children all over England loved our classical ballet, The Princess & The Frog, so we are thrilled to be back with our new production, The Magic Word. The set, costumes and music really are gorgeous and our dancers are just amazing! Everyone is hard at work to bring you something very special once again. And, this year, we will have a professional photographer on hand to capture those memories as children have the opportunity to meet the dancers after every performance. There is nothing more exciting than having a photo taken with a talented, professional ballerina to inspire a life-long passion for the arts. The Magic Word tells the story of a beautiful Forest Queen who loves dancing in the warm summertime forest, spinning and twirling in the dappled sunlight. But, as the winter months encroach, she becomes cold and hungry. One day, she decides to visit the Forest Elf on the other side of the wood, as she knows he has food and a warm cloak. However, the Queen is rather spoilt and she does not know how to ask nicely! Once she learns The Magic Word she discovers the beauty of sharing and the joys of true friendship. This production, with the theme of friendship at its core, combines all the ingredients to charm audiences young and old. An original score, gorgeous costumes and crystal clear story-telling draws everyone into the heart-warming tale. The show runs at 45 minutes, including a postshow meet the dancers session. Let’s All Dance prides itself on providing quality ballet at a fraction of the standard price, thereby sharing inspirational dance and life lessons about kindness, respect and friendship with as many children as possible. And, in addition to touring world-class theatres, Let’s All Dance shares the love of dance with local schools along the way, bringing the fairytale to life for children who might otherwise never experience live classical ballet.
