INSTRUCTION FOR FILLING IN WARRANTY REPORT Drive identification Date of repair Date of commissioning Date of service work, e.g. 2002-01-20 Date of commissioning, e.g. Month/Year. To be asked from the end customer if the commissioning date is unknown! Type of Frequency Converter Type of the whole frequency converter, e.g. ACxxxxxxxxxx. Note: For Machinery drives, give the type of the whole unit e.g.ACSM1-01AS-05A0-4. For Standard drives, give the type of the whole unit e.g.ACS550-01-038A-4. For Industrial drives, give the type of the whole unit e.g.ACS800-07-0750-7. With cabinet assembled drives the product type field xx in ACS800-xx should contain the type of the main unit, e.g. -07, -107, -67, -17, -77, etc. Serial No Sales ID / Project No Type of Module / Option Serial number of whole frequency converter, e.g. 1020100584 (always 10 digits). If this is not available then the Sales ID must be given. For cabinet drives enter the sales ID, e.g. 27391. For P&P** projects, enter the project number e.g. 1234XF. Type of the faulty module (e.g.ACS800-704-0640-7) / faulty option. Note: For ACS600 MD the type code of the phase module always starts with ACN644xxxx. With cabinet assembled drives the product type field xx in ACS800-xx should contain the type of the module, e.g. -04, -104, -704, etc. Serial No of Module /Option Serial number of faulty module / faulty option, e.g. 1003800584 for modules). Software version of the drive/unit See version information from the Control Panel / PC-tool. How long had the drive been running? Check the total running time (in hours, if possible) from the Control Panel / PC-tool in the actual value group. Environmental condition If the installation environment is really bad, the drive should not be repaired under warranty. Electrical room Is the unit placed in an electrical room or is it somewhere in the plant? Estimate how clean the environment is Dirty: Lots of dust inside the unit/room. Boards and components are covered by dirt. Medium: Only some dust can be found on boards, components or inside the unit/room. Clean: No dust inside the drive/room. Air conditioning with cooling Is an air conditioning unit installed to keep the temperature of the room within the specified limits? Estimate the risk level of corrosive gas, moistness and conductive materials for the drive High: Marks of corrosion, moistness or conductive materials are found easily. Medium: Only few marks of corrosion, moisture on conductive materials can be found. Low: No marks can be found.
