There is always concern among audience members that new media will affect people’s lives 1980s &90s 1930s 1950s movies 1940s radio programs, soap operas comic books offensive rap and rock lyrics Movies were believed to cause delinquency, lower standards and ideals… Comic books were believed to be a cause of teenage delinquency and sexual behavior… He is a little kid, and likes to lift girls’ skirt in the comic.
