Special Handling Instructions: Treat as potentially infectious. Each serum/plasma donor unit
used in the preparation of this product has been tested by an FDA approved method and found
non-reactive for the presence of HbsAG, Hepatitis C and antibody to HIV-1 and HIV-2. No known
test method can offer complete assurance that Hepatitis B virus, Hepatitis C virus, HIV-1, HIV-2
or other infectious agents are absent. All human blood based products should be handled in
accordance with currently acceptable biosafety practices and guidelines for the prevention of
blood-borne viral infections.
