Be sure you are collecting the correct plant part and sampling from enough plants. The
interpretation of plant analysis is based on the plant part tested and the stage of growth. Sampling
instructions for many crops are shown on the other side of the sample bag or at www.uap.ca on
NutriScription Sample Location reference page. Be sure to collect a large enough sample for the
laboratory to do the laboratory analysis. Always collect a good and bad sample when trouble
shooting problem areas. A good and bad soil sample is also helpful. Please do not include plant
roots in your sample.
