Sri Aurobindo dedicated several
books and many talks to the destiny
and development of national souls.
The Mother designated a whole
quarter of Auroville to express the
genius of nations and countries.
Last year Wolfgang and Soleil
brought their Soul of Nations
presentation and workshop to India
where 22 Aurovilians found it to be
deeply effective in experiencing what
a nation soul is, what is the relation
between a personal soul dharma
with a country of birth. The group felt
“Soul of Nation” workshop in
that a significant step in realizing

Human Unity was taken through the discoveries
and sharings and that much more progress could be made using these methods.
After the presentation on the first day you will be guided through a Layers of the
Heart meditation. On the second day we will apply this experience to discover, heal,
and integrate your relation with the national soul of your birth country. During the
workshop we will explore through meditations, group movement, dialog in dyads,
expression through art, discussions, and sharing.
The slide show presentation starts with perspectives of evolution, including new
integral concepts on the evolution of consciousness and current sociological
discussions regarding nations. Our presentation embraces the integral view and the
individualizing soul element in matter.
The presentation gives also current examples of tools and training fields for the
atonement to national souls and the work on national shadows. The overview ranges
from visionary communities and the role of arts and literature to the impacts of
collective meditations and initiating therapies.
