In the fall semester, Statistics 2501 is offered on campus. In the Winter semester, Statistics 2501 is offered by distance education only. 2. While students are strongly encouraged to complete NUTR2323 in the first year, they can substitute an Arts elective for NUTR 2323 in the first year but must then complete NUTR 2323 in the second year. 3. All Open Acadia courses must be completed prior to starting courses at Acadia. 4. The following are acceptable as Arts electives: Art classics, Comparative Religion, Economics, English, Environment and Sustainability Studies, French, German, Greek, History, Latin, Music, Philosophy, Political Science, Sociology, Spanish, Theatre Studies. The following are NOT ACCEPTABLE as Arts electives: Computer Science, Mathematics, Psychology. Courses in subject areas offered Faculties of Arts at Memorial University’s campuses other than those listed above may be acceptable as Arts electives. It is recommended that students check on subject area eligibility in these cases. Please note that changes in the Acadia timetables each year may mean the courses cannot be taken in this sequence. 12 May 2015
