C .D.(C) PE R S ON A L PROF I L E Dr. Matthew Ng completed his undergraduate (BSc) and dental education (DMD) at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Canada. He went on to pursue his orthodontic education (MSD) at Saint Louis University in St. Louis, MO. Dr. Ng is a Board-Certified orthodontist in both the USA and Canada as a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists in Canada. Dr. Ng is an active member in the profession as a Past President of the British Columbia Dental Specialists Society and currently serving on the Board of Directors of the Texas Association of Orthodontists and Southwestern Society of Orthodontists. Dr. Ng stays atop of the latest in clinical orthodontics as a member of the Southwest component of the E.H. Angle Society and the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontics. He is a guest lecturer at a number of graduate orthodontic programs and has lectured extensively throughout Canada and the USA on early interceptive orthodontics, multi-disciplinary management of the adult orthodontic patient, and practice management considerations for new and younger orthodontists. He also serves as the principal orthodontist at Fairfield Dental Care and Orthodontics in Cypress, TX. When he’s not practicing or lecturing about orthodontics, Dr. Ng is active with his local church and volunteers with a number of charitable organizations. He is proud to be the first doctor coordinator of the Donated Orthodontic Services program in the State of Texas. Dr. Ng is married to his lovely wife, Theresa and they have a son, Andrew. As a family, they enjoy travelling, experiencing different cultures and culinary adventures.
