Fire Alarm Systems | D7025 Alarm and Trouble Relay Module
D7025 Alarm and Trouble Relay Module
▶ Two Form C relays (alarm and trouble)
▶ 12 VDC or 24 VDC operation
▶ Easy installation onto the control panel
▶ No additional programming required after installation
The D7025 Alarm and Trouble Relay Module is a plug-in
device compatible with the D7022 Two-zone Fire Alarm
Control Panel (FACP). It allows the D7022 to support two
auxiliary Form C relays for connection to external devices
such as the D185 Reversing Relay Module, the D2071A
Digital Alarm Communicator Transmitter (DACT), or the
D9068 DACT. The module provides one alarm relay and one
trouble relay.

Functions
Relays
The two Form C relays can be wired as either normallyclosed or normally-open. The alarm relay is used for external
devices that must operate when the control panel is in
alarm. The trouble relay is used for external devices that
must operate when the control panel indicates a trouble
condition.
The FACP holds the trouble relay energized in normal
standby. The C and NC terminals are connected in normal
standby. Loss of AC power does not activate the trouble
relay until the programmed AC fail timer expires.

Mounting Considerations
The D7025 mounts to the D7022 control panel with four
nylon stand-offs that are supplied with the D7025.
Note
AC and battery power must be removed from
the D7022 before installing the D7025.
Wiring Considerations
D7025 to FACP
The connector pins from the eight-pin connector on the
FACP board insert into the connector on the D7025.
Connect the yellow and green earth-ground wire to the
ground terminal on the FACP terminal strip.
