THE FROG PRINCE Audition
An audition will be held for Missoula Children's Theatre (MCT) production of THE FROG
PRINCE (day, date and location) from (start time) to (end time). Those auditioning should arrive at
(start time) and plan to stay for the full two hours. Some of the cast members will be asked to stay for a
rehearsal immediately following the audition.
Approximately 50-60 roles are available for local students. All students, grades (list grades
eligible: i.e. entering 1st through 12th grade), are encouraged to audition. No advance preparation is
necessary. Most students rehearse approximately 4 ½ hours each day, Monday through Friday.
Performances are scheduled for (date, time and location).

Deep in the royal swamp, a selfish Princess makes a promise to befriend a lonely Frog after he
retrieves her golden ball from a well. But what happens when the Princess tries every trick in the book
to break her promise? Come and find out as Missoula Children’s Theatre and more than 50 local
students present the enchanting musical THE FROG PRINCE at (location and time).
This production is part of Missoula Children's Theatre's unique international touring project and

An audition will be held for Missoula Children's Theatre (MCT) production of THE FROG PRINCE (day,

Among the roles to be cast are three sisters – who also happen to be Princesses, two students to play
the lonely Frog, Ollie the Aspen Tree, bumbling Knights, kindly Swamp Things, the well-read Alligator, fancy
Flamingos, helpful Ducks, a busy Fly and the nasty Venus Fly Traps. All students, grades (list grades eligible:
i.e. entering 1st through 12th grade), are encouraged to audition. No advance preparation is necessary.
Assistant Directors will also be cast to assist with the technical aspects of the production.
Missoula Children's Theatre touring productions are complete with costumes, scenery, props and
makeup. The MCT Tour Actor/Directors will conduct rehearsals throughout the week from (start time) to (end
time) each day.
