Improve and make your team communications more effective
•
Reduce tension arising from personal difficulties among co-workers
•
Explain why some people work better with others and what are the best
work conditions for everyone on your workforce
•
Provide the perspective and information to make work more productive
•
Make your workforce more cohesive, leading to improved effectiveness
and better operational efficiency.
Get the right program,
delivered the way you want it!
USD is made up of three programs:
1. Individuals program—heightens employees’ insights into their preferences
for interacting and working with others; delineates the ramifications of
those preferences and communication styles on relationships with others.
2. Group program—analyzes the impact of each individual member’s preferences and communication style on the success and effectiveness
of the group as a whole.
3. Managers program—strengthens leadership skills by increasing awareness of the interaction of a manager’s personal style with his/her direct
reports and the impact of their collective style on other teams and the
organization as a whole.
The Understanding Styles Differences programs are designed to be compatible with your existing human resource programs, policies, and processes.
The flexible USD system can be delivered as:
•
Stand alone programs for communication training, to enhance coaching/mentoring and on-the-job training, and for staff learning
and development
•
Professional programs integrated with other programs in a roll-out strategy
to support employees, teams, and managers
•
Supplementary modules added to existing training and HR initiatives.

Managers Program
This half-day program will assist participants to gain insight into their preferences
for how they interact, work and associate with others. The emphasis is on developing the individual’s awareness of how their preferences are translated into
behavior and how those behaviors impact others. Participants will examine their
own style and develop an understanding of the needs of others with differing
styles. The focus is on learning to develop personal strategies for more positive
outcomes with people who have varying styles and preferences.
This full-day program moves participants through an understanding of their own
styles to an examination of the impact their individual preferences have on the
performance and success of their team as a whole. Through these insights,
strategies are developed to establish and enhance group effectiveness.
Participants also gain insight into how misunderstandings and conflicts arise
within groups and they learn new skills to manage those conflicts.
This full-day program is designed specifically for management. Managers have
unique needs at work. They must understand their own personal styles (and how
that impacts on others), the individual styles of their team members and the style
of the group as a whole. Better understanding means better choices for more
effective leadership, training, and motivation. Insight into the mix and integration
of the styles of team members will increase the overall success of the team. This
program comes with a completely customized guidebook to give a manager a
detailed understanding of:
•
The manager’s personal Prevue Assessment and preferred styles
•
Each of the manager’s direct reports and how to manage them
more effectively.
•
The strengths and challenges of managing the team as a whole and suggestions for managing the team more successfully
The Understanding Style Differences programs have proven effective in developing the insights necessary to change behavior for improved performance by individuals, groups and managers.
