Funded by the Bower Foundation “FOOD: For Thought, For Life”: Educational Series January 2014-Present PI Created and implemented a traveling educational exhibit detailing important health and nutrition information for Mississippi residents, displayed in MS public and community college libraries. Funded by the Mississippi Humanities Council. Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Ethics Knowledge Survey Sept 2014-Present Co-PI, Mobolaji Famuyide PI Developed, implemented, and analyzed ethics survey for MS Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNP) for the development of NNP ethics training. Medical Resident Grief Preference Survey January 2015-Present Tested and analyzed physician grief preference survey through qualitative methods. Doctoral Research Aug 2009-June 2010 Jackson, Mississippi Ethnographic research examining the construction of low-income children’s needs in out-ofschool programming. Findings suggest that children and families’ needs are understood differently by local agencies, affecting educational opportunities and services.
