correct for average power factor lower than 90 percent. The demand shall be taken at 90
percent of the highest KVA demand recorded during that period.

DETERMINATION OF BILLING DEMAND

charges may be adjusted for all consumers with 500 KW or more of billing demand to

DECORATIVE POLE INSTALLATIONS
Decorative poles are those that are constructed of fiberglass or aluminum material and
typically require special features.
TERM OF CONTRACT
The minimum billing under any of the above monthly charges shall be for 12 months.

AVAILABILTY
Available in all territory served by the Cooperative or in other territory under customer
choice, in accordance with the Cooperative’s established Service Rules and Regulations
and subject to the execution and terms of a contract for service to the Cooperative and the
consumer.
APPLICABILITY
Applicable to the electric service delivered at standard voltage required on the consumer’s
premises, delivered at one point and metered at or compensated to that voltage. Limited to
schools or educational facilities with a connected load of 900 KW or greater.
TYPE OF SERVICE
Multi-phase. 60 hertz, at standard voltage or at other voltage as might be mutually agreeable.

DETERMINATION OF THE DEMAND USED FOR ENERGY BILLING

delivered at one point and metered at or compensated to that voltage. Limited to loads
requiring 300 KVA or more of transformer capacity and with a projected or actual annual
load factor of 50% or greater.

DETERMINATION OF MONTHLY FIXED CHARGE
The consumer will be billed the facilities charge per account plus the product of the energy

ADDITIONAL CHARGES
Where existing transformer capacity is not available, and a transformer and/or service wires
are required specifically for this service, a monthly facilities charge of $17.00 pre month
shall apply just for this specific usage point.

Power Cost Adjustment
APPLICABILITY
This adjustment is applicable to and becomes a part of each retail rate schedule in which
reference is made to Power Cost Adjustment.
ADJUSTMENT
All bills rendered subject to the Power Cost Adjustment shall be increased or decreased in
accordance with the following formula:

WPC3 = The total wholesale power cost for the most previous three months
A1 = Any adjustment due to changes in fuel cost or most recent wholesale
power cost
A2 = Any adjustment required to fully recover under collected wholesale

TKWH3 = The total KWH sold to all members for the most previous three months
KWH3 = The total KWH sold to members not subject to power cost adjustment
for the most previous three months
