Suffixes are the ACTIVE PART OF THE TERM . •
They come at the end of the term

1)Suffixes to indicate a field of study or
medical specialty.

Biology: the study of life
Physiology: the study of the body systems
Neurology: medical specialty pertaining to the
Central Nervous System and its Diseases.
Dermatology:the medical specialty pertaining to
diseases of the skin.
