Made by accident when
sulfur, charcoal, and
potassium nitrate were
combined.

Bright sparks made
fireworks.

It was thick and used as
blankets, clothes, and
shoes.
Bamboo was cut and
dried.
Chips were steamed and
ground into pulp.
Pulp was lifted out of the
water on a screen and
dried into paper.




Later used in fighting.
