REMIT: Secondary Trade Reporting
 TSOs not obligated to provide secondary capacity trading data - we are
not one of the counter-parties and therefore do not hold the relevant data.
 Those trading on the secondary market need to provide this data.
 However, NG are very happy to work with market participants to find an
effective solution to provide this data to ACER.
 We suggest that one solution could be for Xoserve to become the delivery
agent for secondary data in much the same way as it will become for
primary data as per the NG project.
 NG is now beginning work with Xoserve on designing the IT systems to
provide primary data to ACER. We offer shippers and traders an
opportunity to collaborate with our REMIT reporting project such that
it could become a solution to secondary reporting requirements for
GB markets participants.
 However, Xoserve would need the price data which it does not currently
hold.
 If market participants wanted Xoserve to provide this REMIT data service
on their behalf, they may need to formally contract Xoserve to do so.
Confidentially assurances on how Xoserve would deal with and store the
relevant price data may be needed.
