Do you have
hearing loss?
Have you ever
considered the
amazing design of
your ear?
Want to know if you have any of the most
common signs of hearing loss?
Take the short quiz below:
YES
NO
Do people comment that the volume on your
TV or radio is too loud?
Outer
ear
Middle
ear
Choose the right
solution for you.
Ear canal
Do people say you speak too loudly?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, there
is a chance you may have hearing loss.
Your Audiologist or Hearing Care Professional can
conduct a short, painless test to measure your ability to
hear sounds at various frequencies (pitches) and look
for possible physical causes of hearing loss. Based on the
test results, a specific solution best suiting your hearing
loss and your lifestyle will be recommended.

When hearing through two hearing aids, sounds
have a fuller quality and feel more balanced. Volume
levels can be set lower, minimizing the distortion.
Different parts of the ear work together to pick up sound, amplify it and
then convert it into electrical signals for the brain.

Improved Localization
With two hearing aids, the brain receives sound
from both ears. This makes it easier to tell where the
sound is coming from, a skill known as localization.
Localization tells you which way to turn when
someone is calling your name.

Increased Speech Clarity
Enhanced Sound Quality
There’s no one quite like you. The same is true of
your ears – they are as unique as your finger prints.
Your anatomy, level of hearing loss, and lifestyle
preferences are key factors determining the right
model of hearing aid for you.
Behind-The-Ear Hearing Aids
Behind-The-Ear
hearing aids sit
behind the ear,
comfortably and
inconspicuously.
They come in two
types: with a clear,
slim tube that
delivers sound
from the hearing
instrument into
the ear, or as a RIC
(Receiver-In-Canal)
model with an
external receiver
that sits directly in
the ear canal.
Most people have hearing loss in both ears, yet
some only wear one hearing aid. Amplifying
only one ear when both ears need help can put
you at a disadvantage. Your brain needs two
ears for hearing accuracy. Here's why:
Wearing two hearing aids, instead of just one, makes
it easier to understand speech in both normal and
noisy listening situations.

Do you have trouble following conversations
in crowded, noisy places?
Two hearing aids
beat one.
Hearing instruments can help improve your hearing
by making sounds louder and clearer. At the same
time, they highlight speech so that you can focus on
spoken words and be able to distinguish them from
background noise.
Simply put, it converts moving air molecules
into information for your brain to translate.
Have you missed visits and calls because you
didn’t hear the doorbell or telephone?
How hearing
instruments can
help.
