Renewable energy systems are becoming more and more
attractive against conventional systems worldwide. The fluc­­
t­u ating nature of renewables represents a challenge specially
for remote locations with no or unreliable grid connection.
Based on the grid forming capabilities of either a diesel genset
or a battery inverter, renewable energy sources like PV or Wind
are intelligently integrated into the energy system to reduce
the required fossil fuels.
Intelligent and innovative control strategies are required in
order to guarantee a reliable energy supply and at the same
time reduce fossil fuel costs and emissions. skyhybrid is our
