Krypton is a Product Family built around RCS Application Server compliant with the GSMA RCS 5.1 standards.
The software can be deployed by Mobile Operators to:
• Implement the GSMA joyn product suite
• Add RCS 5 functionality to 3G/LTE networks
• Offer their own competitive Over-The-Top Messaging service
• Build a messaging service in a pure VoLTE model to migrate from SMS
• Be compatible with the IMS Interworking capabilities of Newnet’s Lithium Product Family
The system is designed so that Mobile Operators can deploy with or without an IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) and with
the ability to migrate from SMS into a RCS environment when it is needed.

Service Delivery Models
Krypton can be delivered:
As a Hosted Service (Krypton Cloud) – fully operated and hosted from NewNet’s secure cloud with minimal integration
with the operators infrastructure.
As an Application Server in a Non-IMS network – NewNet can deploy the Krypton Connect Application Server and
Krypton IMS Core emulation modules allowing RCS-compliant Instant Messaging to operate properly without a full IMS
Core .
As an Application Server in an existing IMS environment – Krypton Connect can be deployed as an Instant
Messaging Application server within an operator’s existing IMS network.
As an IOT/Pilot Platform – NewNet can supply trial platforms for development teams that require a development or
testing environment or for marketing teams who want to conduct low cost market trials.

RCS Clients & API Partnerships
Krypton is continuously tested with available RCS Clients using the GSMA RCS-e IOT Test Matrix.
Integration
Krypton is designed to be deployed using an operator’s existing infrastructure. Our design philosophy is such that it
allows the use of an operator’s existing integration points for functionality such as billing and provisioning. The below
diagram is an example how Krypton can be deployed in an Operator network.
