How to Select the Financial Class Is it Medicaid or Medicare? Effective 10/2014 Selecting a Financial Class Typically the financial class will be self explanatory. However there will be times when you will need additional help determining which financial class to pick. The next few slides should help. NOTE: White shapes indicate the financial class you should pick. Selecting a Financial Class Is this a MH or SA evaluation? MH Yes SA Is the client covered by a third-party Payer? No SA = Provider to pay most cost Is the client covered by Medicaid? No Go to next slide Yes MH = Medicaid SA = Medicaid Selecting a Financial Class Is the client covered by DORA? Yes SA = Other public resources No Is the client covered by Drug Court? Yes SA = Other public resources Yes SA = Other public resources No Is the client covered by the Women’s General Fund?
