Introduction of Newly developed Assays in Metabolomics Service Center Some assays have been developed in Metabolomics Service Center. If you are interested in these assays, please contact Anqi Zhang, 617 414-2944 [email protected] or visit the Metabolomics Service Center website (http://www.bumc.bu.edu/metabolomics). Menu of Service of Metabolomics Service Center The following assay modules have been developed for quantitative or semi-quantitative measurement of: 1. 2. Plasma vitamin D metabolites: 25(OH)D3, 25(OH)D2, 3epi-25(OH)D3 Tryptophan metabolic pathway: Tryptophan, kynurenine, kynurenic acid, anthralinic acid, xanthurenic acid, indoxyl sulfate and indoxyl acetate Newly developed 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 1 Nucleotides: ATP, ADP, AMP, cAMP, CTP, CTP, CMP, GTP, GDP, GMP, cGMP, UTP, UDP and UMP Glycolysis metabolite: Glucose, fructose 1,6-biphosphate, 2,3-diphosphoglycerade, 3p-glycerade, 2-p-glycerate and phospho(enol)pyruvate Tricarboxylic acid cycle metabolites: Acetyl-CoA, citric acid, isocitric acid, fumarate, malic acid, oxaloacetic acid, pyruvic acid, succinyl CoA, succinic acid and ketoglutaric acid NAD/ NADH, NADP/NADPH GSH and GSSG Plasma amino acids: Alanine, arginine, glutamine, leucine, isoleucine, lysine, methionine, proline, Phenylalanine, serine, tryptophan, tyrosine, threonine and valine Other Metabolites: citrulline, betaine, L-ornithine, taurine, cystamine, homocysteine, glutamic acid, L-carnitine, acetylcholine, thiamine, niacinamide, creatine, creatinine, trimethylamine N-oxide, 2-aminoisobutyric acid, ϒ-aminoisobutyric acid, serotonin, 5hydroxyindoleacetic acid (5-HIAA), 5’-adenosylhomocystein, spermine, spermidine, triiodothyronine and thyroxine 2 3 Nucleotides from cell extract ATP, ADP, AMP, cAMP, CTP, CTP, CMP, GTP, GDP, GMP, cGMP, UTP, UDP and UMP Rate A promotion rate will be applied to these new assays. $25 per sample. The rate will be reviewed and adjusted in July, 2016. Two samples in each group in the pre-assay test will be run in free of charge. 4
