NAMING ANGLES
We use the letters at the end of the arms and at the vertex to name angles.

To draw the angle opposite we start at A, move to B and end at C.
This angle is named
ABC.
Drawn in reverse we can start at C, move
to B and end at A so this angle can also be named CBA.

TYPES OF ANGLES
An ACUTE ANGLE is
an angle between
0° and 90°.
A RIGHT ANGLE is
an angle of 90°.
An OBTUSE ANGLE
is an angle between
90° and 180°.
A STRAIGHT ANGLE
is an angle of 180°.
MEASURING & DRAWING ANGLES
You should be able to use a protractor to measure and draw angles.
To measure the angle below we place to protractor on top of the angle.
Read from the scale.
The angle measures 120°.
