Things to know to be successful on the Quarterly Assessment
 Know a minimum of two inventions from Ancient Egypt.
 Know a minimum of two inventions from Ancient Mesopotamia.
 Name and know how the geographic features/ natural Barriers
(mountains, rivers, deserts, etc.) influenced Ancient Egypt.
 Name and know how the geographic features/ natural barriers
influenced Ancient Mesopotamia.
 Be comfortable with arranging events on a timeline. Know the terms
B.C., B.C.E and A.D., C.E.
 Be comfortable finding latitude and longitude coordinates. Also, be
able to recognize/identify the major lines of latitude and longitude on
a map.
 Always look over notes and handouts provided in class. Be prepared
for questions about anything we have learned! 
 Study hard!
