There are many mythological mentions in The Lightning Thief! Whether creatures or monsters,
it is important to know who they are and why they are important so the book makes the
maximum amount of sense. Therefore, you will research and teach your classmates about these
great Greek things!
There are two parts to this project!
1) Small Research Component
 Look up the components in the story that you have been assigned.
 Go to the different websites and find out about your mythological thing(s). Try to answer
some questions. (Ex: Who/what/where is this person/object/place? Why is he/she/it
important? Any interesting story behind it?)
2) PowerPoint Presentation
 Create a PowerPoint slide that includes the information you found and a picture for each
required element. The number of slides depends on how much you need to look up.
o Each slide should have the answers to the questions you found. Also, each slide
should have a picture (with the URL cited) for the character/object/place.
o IMPORTANT: You are ONLY allowed to use the websites provided! You
CANNOT search for sites or images on your own.
**Create your slide(s) in Keynote.
**eBackpack the slide(s) when you are done.
**You will present your slides.
Requirements
Characters/places/objects are all included with accurate information on each
