Receiving honors from two separate attending doctors allows the recipient the opportunity to participate in advanced clinics, and to add an additional externship site during fourth year rotations. • 2009 Corrine Engwall Award for Clinical Excellence in Infant/Toddler Clinic Chan 3 Award given to the outstanding third year optometry clinician who demonstrates excellence in the primary optometric care of young children from birth to 6 years of age. The clinician will have demonstrated excellence in patient and parent management, efficient assessment and diagnosis of vision disorders in children, effective coordination of care, treatment and management. 2009 California Optometric Laboratories Association Scholarship o Presented to a third year student who has excelled in the field of Ophthalmic Optics as determined by the faculty of the UC Berkeley School of Optometry 2008 and 2009 Drs.
