§ Responsibilities: Investigate the effect of implementation of
electronic medical records and accountability requirements on
nursing practice in a Labor & Delivery unit using in-depth
ethnographic observation and interviewing methods.

§ Responsibilities: informed design and dissemination of an
improved biomass cooking technology in rural Mexico using social
science methods. Used statistical analyses to examine individual
and cultural factors promoting adoption and use of the stove.
Consulted with stove developers working on related projects in
Chiapas, Mexico, and Guatemala.
