When patrons present a special Bob Evans Community Fundraiser flyer during check-out at Bob Evans, 2299 East State St. in Salem, the restaurant will donate 15 percent of sales to the SRMC Auxiliary. The class is open to children ages 3-10 and includes ageappropriate discussions on the physical course covers topics such as: *Defensive driving techniques *New traffic laws *Reducing driver distractions *Effects of medications on driving *Adjusting driving to accommodate age-related changes in vision, hearing and reaction time The cost is $15 for AARP members and $20 for nonmembers. Some course graduates may be eligible for discounted auto insurance rates. Space is limited, and preregistration is required by calling 330332-5885 or by visiting the Community Center's front desk. The class is cosponsored by Salem Regional characteristics, behavior and care of newborns. A tour of New Beginnings Family Care Center, SRMC's maternity unit, will also be provided. Medical Center and the Salem Community Center. 10:00 am Event: Look Good Feel Better Program Location: Classrooms 3 &4 Description: Women undergoing cancer treatment can learn techniques for looking and feeling their best during this upcoming session of the American Cancer Society's Look Good...Feel Better program. SRMC will host the free class in classrooms 3 and 4 on the hospital's second floor. During the workshop, a trained volunteer cosmetologist helps women cope with appearancerelated side effects of treatment by offering assistance with makeup application, skin care, and hair and wig techniques. Light refreshments will be provided, and participants should bring a t-shirt of any color that can be cut for a special project. Preregistration is required to receive a personalized makeup kit to use during the workshop. Registration for the breastfeeding class is not required. For questions, call 330-3374989. 30 1:00 pm Event: Open House and "Healthy Family" Festival Location: 116 Carriage Drive; in the Firestone Farms TownCenter, Columbiana (intersection of State Routes 7 & 14) Description: Tour SRMC's newest location for physician practices and diagnostic services at Firestone Farms TownCenter in Columbiana. A "Healthy Family" Festival will also be held in conjunction with the open house; and will offer children's games, outdoor activities, "Healthy Selfie" photos, prizes and refreshments. Those attending these special events are encouraged to use the TownCenter's entrance on State Route 7, with parking available in the parking area to the right near SRMC's building entrance.
