Dr. Mohammad Razavi is a certified orthodontic specialist in private
practice in Kanata, Ontario, Canada. Prior to relocating to the Ontario
region, he practiced orthodontics for five years in the Cleveland area,
where he served as the orthodontist for the Cleveland Browns and on the
Craniofacial Team at the Cleveland Clinic. A specialist in irregular tooth
size and congenital absence of teeth, Dr. Razavi provides his patients
with state-of-the-art orthodontic care in a fully digital office through the
use of SmartClip™, Icognito™, and Invisalign™ appliances, along with
other leading-edge technologies.
An acknowledged expert in the areas of orthopedic growth modification
and skeletal anchorage, Dr. Razavi also serves as an assistant clinical professor and founder and
former director of the Skeletal Anchorage Clinic at Case Western Reserve University, where he
integrated various Temporary Anchorage Devices (TAD) systems into the school’s rigorous
training program. While in Cleveland, he also served as a member of the consulting staff in the
Department of Dentistry of the Head and Neck Institute for the Cleveland Clinic, a non-profit
academic medical center and leader in research, education and health information.
In addition to his position at Case Western, Dr. Ravazi teaches advanced courses on treatment
techniques and office efficiency at national and international orthodontic conferences. He also
serves as an advocate for 3M Unitek, for whom he lectures extensively throughout North
America and abroad. His program, “Making the Most of Two Technologies: Self-Ligating
Brackets and TADs” teaches practicing clinicians how to combine the two technologies to
optimize the advantages offered by each, and how to successfully implement them into an
efficient orthodontic practice. A regular contributor to dental publications, Dr. Razavi has
authored numerous articles in dental journals, and is currently a reviewer for the American
Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics and the Journal of Clinical Orthodontics.
Dr. Razavi received his D.D.S degree in 2002 and his Orthodontic Certificate and M.S.D. in
2005 from Case Western Reserve University. He is board certified as a Diplomate of the
