It covers all of the California Mathematics Academic content Standards (1998) for Algebra 2, Trigonometry and Probability and Statistics. II. Rationale Honors Algebra-Trigonometry enables those college bound students who are capable of handling an accelerated math course who wish to take Calculus in high school to do so if they were not advanced to the geometry level in their freshman year.
