4. Sanitary information
The undersigned Official Veterinarian certifies that the birds described above have been examined and:

4.1 show no clinical sign of disease on the day of shipment;

4.2 come from an establishment which is regularly inspected by the Veterinary Authority and
recognized free of avian tuberculosis and fowl cholera;

4.3 satisfy the following requirements1:

4.3.1
the birds were kept in isolation approved by the Veterinary Services since they were
hatched or for at least the 21 days prior to shipment and showed no clinical sign of any
infection

4.3.2
the birds were subjected during the time of isolation to:

4.3.2.1 a diagnostic test 7 to 14 days prior to shipment to demonstrate freedom from
infection with a virus which would be considered NAI in poultry;

4.3.2.2 a diagnostic test for Newcastle Disease (ND) with negative results;

the birds have not been vaccinated against ND or were vaccinated against ND
using a vaccine complying with the standards described in the current OIE
Terrestrial Manual (the nature of the vaccine used and the date of vaccination
shall also be stated in the certificate).

4.3.3.2 the birds have not been vaccinated against infectious bursal disease and come
from an establishment free from infectious bursal disease as demonstrated by the AGP
test or were vaccinated against infectious bursal disease (the nature of the vaccine used
and the date of vaccination shall also be stated in the certificate).

4.3.3.3 the birds have not been vaccinated against Fowl Cholera; or were vaccinated
against Fowl Cholera (the nature of the vaccine used and the date of vaccination shall
also be stated in the certificate).

4.3.4
for birds of the Psittacidae families showed no clinical sign of avian chlamydiosis on the
day of shipment and were kept under veterinary supervision for the 45 days prior to
shipment and were treated against avian chlamydiosis using chlortetracycline.
