Correlation Documents: CDT Scores and Study Island Topics by Grade Level Score 200 - 400 Grade Level Reference Grade 2 and Lower 401 - 899 Grade 3 900 - 990 Grade 4 991 - 1050 Grade 5 1051 - 1185 Grade 6 1186 - 1250 Grade 7 1251 - 1285 Grade 8 Numbers and Operations Algebraic Concepts Geometry Measurement, Data, And Probability The students’ CDT scores are broken out by the different Reporting Categories above. When you use the Interactive Reports, the eligible content will be no more than three grade levels below the current grade level of a student. However, the actual content is based on the score ranges to the right. Once the students’ scores exceed 1285 the content level moves into Keystone Algebra I, Keystone Algebra II, and/or Keystone Geometry eligible content. In the tables below are the Study Island topics for each of the grade levels that correspond to the Reporting Categories. Please note that as the grades progress, fractions move to ratios and proportions, and algebraic thinking moves to expressions and equations and later functions. 1 Score Grade Level Reference 200 - 899 Grade 3 Numbers and Operations in Base Ten Numbers and Operations – Fractions 900 - 990 Grade 4 Numbers and Operations in Base Ten Numbers and Operations – Fractions 991 - 1050 Grade 5 Numbers and Operations in Base Ten Numbers and Operations – Fractions 1051 - 1185 Grade 6 The Number System Ratios and Proportional Relationships 1186 - 1250 Grade 7 The Number System Ratios and Proportional Relationships 1251 - 1284 Grade 8 The Number System Numbers and Operations Rounding Numbers Addition and Subtraction Multiply by Multiples of 10 Order Whole Numbers Fractional Parts of Objects Fractions – Number Lines Equivalent Fractions Comparing Fractions Place Value Expanded Form Compare Numbers Round Numbers Addition and Subtraction Multiplication Division Equivalent Fractions Compare Fractions Adding and Subtracting Fractions Multiplying Fractions Convert Fractions and Decimals Compare Decimals Powers of 10 Representations of Decimals Comparing Decimals Rounding Decimals Multiply Whole Numbers Divide Whole Numbers Add and Subtract Decimals Multiply and Divide Decimals Add and Subtract Fractions Division with Fractions Multiplication with Fractions Division of Fractions Arithmetic with Decimals Arithmetic with Whole Numbers Number Theory Negative and Positive Numbers Number Lines Coordinate Planes Absolute Value Ratios and Ratio Language Unit Rates Units of Measure Percents Properties of Addition and Subtraction Single-Step Real World Problems Unit Rates Proportional Relationships Percents Ratios and Proportions Real Numbers Approximations of Irrational Numbers 2 Score Grade Level Reference 200 - 899 Grade 3 Operations and Algebraic Thinking 900 - 990 Grade 4 Operations and Algebraic Thinking 991 - 1050 Grade 5 Operations and Algebraic Thinking Grade 6 Expressions and Equations 1051 - 1185 1186 - 1250 Grade 7 Expressions and Equations 1251 - 1284 Grade 8 Expressions and Equations Functions Algebraic Concepts Multiplication and Division Real World Number Sentences Properties of Multiplication and Division Two-Step Problems Patterns Number Sentences Real World Problems Number Sentences Patterns Numerical Expressions Number Patterns Evaluate Expressions Write Expressions Equivalent Expressions Solve Equations and Inequalities Symbolize Problem Situations Number Sentences Quantitative Relationships Linear Expressions Multi-Step Real World Problems Percents Symbolize and Solve Equations Exponential Expressions Square and Cube Roots Scientific Notation Proportional Relationships Solve Linear Equations Systems of Equations Functions Linear vs. Nonlinear Functions Linear Relationships 3 Score Grade Level Reference 200 - 899 Grade 3 900 - 990 Grade 4 991 - 1050 Grade 5 1051 - 1185 Grade 6 1186 - 1250 Grade 7 1251 - 1284 Grade 8 Geometry 2-Dimensional Shapes Shape Partitions Angles Points, Lines, Rays, and Segments Symmetry Coordinate System 2-Dimensional Figures Area Surface Area and Volume Scale Drawings Triangles Three-Dimensional Figures Angles Circles Area, Surface Area, and Volume Object Transformations Similarity and Congruence Pythagorean Theorem Volume 4 Score Grade Level Reference 200 - 899 Grade 3 Measurement and Data 900 - 990 Grade 4 Measurement and Data 991 - 1050 Grade 5 Measurement and Data 1051 - 1185 Grade 6 Statistics and Probability Grade 7 Statistics and Probability 1186 - 1250 1251 - 1284 Grade 8 Statistics and Probability Measurement, Data, And Probability Time Measure Volume and Mass Measure Length Money Represent Data Interpret Data Area Perimeter Units of Measurement Measurement Money Time Perimeter and Area Time Represent and Interpret Data Angle Measurement Units of Measure Representing and Interpreting Data Volume Graphing and Interpreting Data Statistical Analysis Sampling Analysis Comparing Statistics – Central Tendency and Variability Probability Scatter Plots Best-Fit Linear Models Two-Way Tables 5
