INFCTION CONTROL & STERLISIATATION SYSTEMS
Sterilization:
Scare of hepatitis B-C and HIV has made people very conscious of the fact that dental
instruments are one of the major reasons for the spread of these infections. At SS
DENTAL n MEDICAL CENTRE strict measures are taken to maintain high standards of
sterilization and disinfection. Autoclaving is the procedure in which instruments are
sterilized with steam at 121 degrees centigrade at 15 psi pressure which even kills the
spore (eggs) of the bacteria. Apart from that, disinfecting solutions and glass bead
sterilizers are also used.
Some of the infection control methods we utilize are:
1. Our dentists and dental-team members (dental hygienist and assistant) wash
their hands and put on a fresh pair of gloves before starting treatment. New
disposable gloves are used whenever we enter the operatory.
Disposable Gloves
2. Masks and protective eyewear are worn during dental procedures.

The procedure for sterilization of instruments areAll instruments, including hand pieces, are sterilized after each use and sealed.
1. Instruments are first scrubbed clean to remove debris with spirit swabs.
2.
Then they are immersed in 5% Korsolex sterilizing solution for 45 minutes for
standard disinfection.

3. Cold sterile instruments are then packed in individualized sterile packs and
sterilized in a steam autoclave.

and sterile office.
All surfaces are either covered with disposable plastic or disinfected prior to
each patient's use.
Dental Instruments, in sterile packages, are then stored in U.V. Chamber to
maintain the sterilization, which are opened in front of the patient.

Bridges & Crowns
Bridges
Bridges are natural-looking dental appliances that can replace a section of missing
teeth. Because they are custom-made, bridges are barely noticeable and can
restore the natural contour of teeth as well as the proper bite relationship
between upper and lower teeth.
Bridges are sometimes referred to as fixed partial dentures, because they are
semi-permanent and are bonded to existing teeth or implants. Some bridges are
removable and can be cleaned by the wearer; others need to be removed by a
dentist.
Porcelain, gold alloys or combinations of materials are usually used to make
bridge appliances.
Appliances called implant bridges are attached to an area below the gum tissue,
or the bone.
Crowns
Crowns are synthetic caps, usually made of a material like porcelain, placed on
the top of a tooth. Crowns are typically used to restore a tooth's function and
appearance following a restorative procedure such as a root canal. When decay in
a tooth has become so advanced that large portions of the tooth must be
removed, crowns are often used to restore the tooth.
Crowns are also used to attach bridges, cover implants, prevent a cracked tooth
from becoming worse, or an existing filling is in jeopardy of becoming loose or
dislocated. Crowns also serve an aesthetic use, and are applied when a discolored
or stained tooth needs to be restored to its natural appearance.
Procedures
A tooth must usually be reduced in size to accommodate a crown. An impression
is made of the existing tooth and an impression is made. The impression is sent to
a special lab, which manufactures a custom-designed crown. In some cases, a
temporary crown is applied until the permanent crown is ready. Permanent
crowns are cemented in place.
Crowns are sometimes confused with veneers, but they are quite different.
Veneers are typically applied only to relatively small areas.
Root Canal Treatment
Root canals are tiny passageways that branch off from beneath the top of the
tooth, coursing their way vertically downward, until they reach the tip of the root.
All teeth have between one and four root canals. Many tooth problems involve
infections that spread to the pulp, which is the inner chamber of the tooth
containing blood vessels, nerves and other tissues. When the infection becomes
worse, it can begin affecting the roots. A traumatic injury to a tooth can also
compromise the pulp, leading to similar problems.
A diseased inner tooth brings a host of problems; pain and sensitivity are some of
the first indications of a problem; but inside, a spreading infection can cause small
pockets of pus to develop, leading to an abscess.
Root canal therapy is a remarkable treatment with a very high rate of success, and
involves removing the diseased tissue, halting the spread of infection and
restoring the healthy portion of the tooth. In fact, root canal therapy is designed
to save a problem tooth; before the procedure was developed and gained
acceptance, the only alternative for treating a diseased tooth was extraction.
Procedures
Root canal therapy usually entails one to three visits. During the first visit, a small
hole is drilled through the top of the tooth and into the inner chamber. Diseased
tissue is removed, the inner chamber cleansed and disinfected, and the tiny
canals reshaped. The cleansed chamber and canals are filled with an elastic
material and medication designed to prevent infection. If necessary, the drilled
hole is temporarily filled until a permanent seal is made with a crown.
Most patients who have root canal experience little or no discomfort or pain, and
enjoy a restored tooth that can last almost as long as its healthy original.
Scaling
Plaque and tartar on teeth make a perfect breeding ground for bacteria. This "left
behind" bacteria will begin to irritate your gums and increase bleeding. These
conditions can easily lead to gingivitis. If gingivitis is left untreated, the gums can
become inflamed and will work its way down to the bottom of the tooth causing a
periodontal pocket that encourages even more bacterial growth.
Gum disease can break down the foundation of the tooth causing them to loosen.
This damage is irreversible. Fortunately, if gum disease is detected early enough,
it can be stopped and conditions can improve.
Your dentist will most likely recommend periodontal therapy which includes deep
cleaning or deep scaling. A regular cleaning should include scaling which is a
procedure that meticulously removes contamination toxins, micro-organisms,
plaque, tartar, cemented, dentin that is rough and/or permeated by calculus from
around, below and under the gum line down to the bottom of the pocket. This is
done to remove bio film, calculus, and toxin down to the bottom of each
periodontal pocket in order to obtain a healing response.
Deep scaling or root planning involves smoothing the root surfaces of your teeth
with thin curettes so gum tissue can more firmly reattach to roots that are clean
and smooth to prevent tooth loss and sensitivity problems. The procedure makes
it more difficult for plaque to accumulate along the root surfaces. Because this
procedure goes deeper than a regular cleaning, your mouth may be numbed. The
cleaning may take two visits to complete. Depending on the extent of the disease
you may need one or more sections (quadrants) of the mouth to be treated with
scaling and root planning. Treatment may require one or more visits.
Extractions
When restoration procedures such as root canal therapy, crowns, or fillings are
not enough to save a tooth, it may need to be pulled, or extracted.
Tooth extraction procedures today are far less painful than ever before, thanks to
powerful anesthetics and sedatives. In many cases, a patient who has tooth pulled
experiences little or no discomfort, and only minor bleeding.
Before a tooth is extracted, the area surrounding the tooth is numbed with a
topical/and or inject able anesthetic such as Novocain. Patients with extracted
teeth sometimes need to take an antibiotic, and at the very least, take
precautions following the procedure to ensure that infection doesn't occur.
Smoking, vigorous brushing and rinsing, and drinking liquids through straws are
discouraged during the post-operative period because they hinder healing and
may cause the wound to open. Cold compresses applied to the outside cheek
near the extraction area can help reduce any swelling and promote faster healing.
Wisdom Teeth
Wisdom teeth are the third and final set of molars that erupt in the back corners
of the upper and lower normal adult mouth. Unfortunately, most people
experience problems from wisdom teeth; in most cases, this is because the teeth
erupt too close to existing permanent teeth, causing crowding, improper bites,
and other problems.
If wisdom teeth are causing a problem and are not pulled, they can sometimes
become impacted. Impacted wisdom teeth can be extremely painful, as well as
harmful to your oral health. Symptoms are easy to spot: severe discomfort,
inflammation, and some kinds of infections. Many people need to have their
wisdom teeth extracted to avoid future serious problems. In general, the lack of
the four wisdom teeth does not hamper one's ability to properly bite down, speak
or eat.
If you experience any of the following symptoms, you may have an impacted
wisdom tooth:
 Facial swelling
 Infection
 Pain
 Gum swelling
COSMETIC DENTRITY
 Cosmetic Bonding
 Porcelain Veneers
 Teeth Whitening
 Smile Makeovers
 White Crowns
Cosmetic Bonding
Bonding is a process in which an enamel-like material is applied to a tooth`s
surface, sculpted to an ideal shape, hardened, and then polished for an ideal
smile. This procedure usually can be accomplished in a single visit.
Bonding is often performed in order to fill in gaps or change the color of your
teeth. It typically only entails one office visit, and the results last for several years.
Bonding is more susceptible to staining or chipping than other forms of
restoration such as veneers. When teeth are chipped or slightly decayed, bonded
composite resins may be the material of choice. Bonding also is used as a toothcolored filling for small cavities and broken or chipped surfaces.
In addition, bonding can be used to close spaces between teeth or cover the
entire outside surface of a tooth to change its color and shape. Crowns, also
known as caps, are used in cases where other procedures will not be effective.
Crowns have the longest life expectancy of all cosmetic restorations, but are the
most time consuming.
Porcelain Veneers
What are porcelain veneers ?
A porcelain veneer is an extremely thin shell of porcelain that bonds to the front
of a tooth (enamel). At SS DENTAL n MEDICAL CENTRE , we use veneers to change
the shape, color, size and symmetry of the teeth and smile. In cosmetic dentistry,
porcelain is the material of choice because it replicates human enamel the most
naturally. At SS DENTAL n MEDICAL CENTRE , we use 3 types of porcelain systems:
Empress, Emax, and Felds pathic Porcelain (as well as variations of our No-Prep /
minimal prep options like Ultra veneers and Dura thins). These systems are
recognized as the superior porcelain systems available in cosmetic dentistry
today, an these are the systems our skilled doctors have used in all of their awardwinning cases. In the right hands, each system is capable of achieving equally
beautiful results, and an SS DENTAL n MEDICAL CENTRE will help decide which is
best suited for you.
Who is a candidate for porcelain veneers ?
If you have teeth, chances are you are a candidate for porcelain veneers.
Porcelain veneers are ideal for people who want to improve their smile. Popular
reasons include worn teeth, uneven teeth, discolored teeth, crooked teeth,
chipped/broken teeth, or a desire to have a gorgeous smile. Porcelain veneers are
a conservative treatment, and can improve the color, shape, symmetry and
overall appearance of your smile. Porcelain veneers are not just for elective
purposes. While they are the ―gold standard‖ treatment for improving your
smile, they are also used to replace old mercury fillings, fix cracked and broken
teeth, and replace enamel that has been worn down over time. Many people
come to SS DENTAL n MEDICAL CENTRE to fix broken and unhealthy teeth. And,
because we have so much skill and experience using porcelain veneers to do this,
our patients get their teeth fixed AND a major smile improvement as an added
benefit. Look at this example below:
Many people spend years disliking their smile. They are embarrassed to smile for
pictures, and they cover their mouths when laughing. Sometimes people misjudge
a person as unfriendly just because the person doesn‘t smile very much.
Sometimes a person is so self-conscious of his or her smile that he or she feels
they can‘t interview for certain jobs even though they are highly educated and
qualified. Some grandparents don‘t want to show their teeth when they smile at
their grandchildren because they are afraid of looking unattractive to a child they
love so much. Obviously, cosmetic dentistry using porcelain veneers can be lifechanging for many individuals. It is our privilege at SS DENTAL n MEDICAL CENTRE
to be involved with thousands of these dramatic life-changing smile-makeovers.
Teeth Whitening
Whitening procedures have effectively restored the smile of people with stained,
dull, or discolored teeth.
The darker tissue of your teeth, the dentin, can become exposed as the outer
layer of enamel is worn away by the effects of aging or things like caffeine and
tobacco.
Food particles are naturally attracted to a tooth's enamel by a certain protein.
Products like coffee and tea, berries and soy sauce are notorious for staining
teeth. Over time, teeth actually become more absorbent and vulnerable to
staining from food and other substances.
One type of stain-caused by traumatic injuries, medications and fluorosis -actually
begins inside the tooth; brushing and flossing don't help. Another type of stainone that can be more easily attacked by brushing, flossing and rinsing-is caused
by external factors such as foods.
More and more people today are choosing tooth-whitening procedures to reverse
the effects of aging and abuse from food and tobacco stains.
Some commercially available "whitening toothpastes" can be somewhat effective
at removing stains and making teeth a few shades brighter. However, many of
these products have abrasive substances that can actually wear away your tooth's
enamel.
Whitening agents actually change the color of your teeth, but only are effective
on certain types of stains. For example, bleaching agents have a difficult time
removing brownish or grayish stains. These products also are not as effective on
pitted or badly discolored teeth, or on restorations such as crowns, bridges,
bonding and tooth-colored fillings (porcelain veneers or dental bonding may be
more appropriate in this case).
Professional whitening performed by our office is considered to be the most
effective and safest method; done properly, tooth whitening can last as long as
five years. Over-the-counter whitening systems are somewhat effective as long as
they are monitored and directions followed closely.
Smile Makeovers
Smile design is a highly technical process requiring great skill and experience to
achieve a natural looking beautiful smile. It takes artistic ability and extensive
knowledge to create the smile you desire. Techniques require precise
measurements based upon mouth shape, gum lines, lips and natural shape of the
teeth.
DENTAL IMPLANT
 Single Implants
 All on 4
Single Implants
Single dental implants
Single implants consist of a singleature titanium implant that acts like the root of
your tooth and an O-ring that is incorporated into the base of your denture. This
makes your denture much more stable and stops it coming out at embarrassing
times. It allows small movements of the denture but will not allow the denture to
fall out unless you want to remove it.
Single implants allow you to chew all sorts of foods that you may not have had in
years, such as steaks and maybe even chewing gum!
All on 4
The All on 4 dental implants technique:-
The all on 4 implant technique (also known as same day teeth and same day
smiles), is a method to replace a full arch of missing teeth (hence "all") with only 4
dental implants (hence "on 4") supporting a fixed denture / bridge all in one day.
Normally dental implants are placed into your jaw at a 90 degree angle to your
jaw. With the all on 4 technique the 2 implants at the front are fitted as usual at
90 degrees and the 2 implants at the back of the jaw are placed at 45 degrees to
your jaw.
When a bridge is then attached to the 4 implants this angled placement of
implants locks all 4 implants together and enables them to heal and integrate
with minimal chance of failure or becoming dislodged. Also since the 2 rear
implants are placed at 45 degrees this allows longer implants to be used in this
area and is especially important for patients who may otherwise require bonegrafting due to minimal bone tissue in that area. In many cases all on 4 provides a
solution for patients who could not previously have implants due to lack of bone.
Gum Reshaping
Gum reshaping, also known as gum contouring, is a cosmetic form of dental
treatment used to improve the general look of a person‘s teeth. It is primarily
used in cases where the individual has what is commonly known as ‗gummy
smile‘. This is a condition in which the gums cover too much of the teeth, usually
the front teeth, and this can leave the length of the teeth looking too short, which
can affect a person‘s general desire to smile.
Such a condition may be caused due to genetics, health circumstances or as a
result of certain high blood pressure prescriptions. This can have an affect on an
individual‘s self-confidence and may see them do their best not to smile in public.
Thankfully, gum reshaping is a dental treatment which is painless and able to
solve the problem of ‗ gummy smile‘ through quick and painless treatment.
Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
When facial reconstruction, including procedures involving the oral cavity, is
called for, a specialist is needed. Surgical procedures of the neck and head area
are performed by a maxillofacial surgeon.
Common maxillofacial procedures include denture-related procedures and jaw
surgery.
Jaw Correction
Protruding chins, crooked or buck teeth or misaligned teeth are good candidates
for maxillofacial surgery.
In some people, jaws do not grow at the same rate; one may come in larger than
the other, or simply not be aligned properly with other bony structures in the
skull. This can cause problems other than appearance issues; an improperly
aligned jaw can cause problems with the tongue and lips, and speech and chewing
problems as well. Jaw surgery can move jaws into their proper place.
Other kinds of maxillofacial surgery can correct problems with upper facial
features such as the nose and cheek.
In addition to correcting jaw problems surgically, orthodontic appliances such as
braces may be needed to restore bite relationship and ensure continued proper
alignment of the jaw. In some cases, tiny wires or small rubber bands may be
needed to keep the jaws in place and promote faster healing. In other cases, small
"fixation" screws or plates may need to be inserted in the jaws to facilitate easy
movement of the jaws following surgery.
Denture Fatigue
People who have worn dentures for a long time can sometimes experience loss of
gum tissue and even bone, mostly from the wear and tear of the appliance on the
soft tissues of their mouth.
In extreme cases, maxillofacial surgery, including bone grafts, manipulation of soft
tissues or even jaw realignment, may be performed to correct such problems.
DENTURE
 Full Denture
 Over Denture
 Full Denture with Mini Implants
 Full supported with Bars
 Fixed Denture
 Long spam Fixed Bridge
Full Denture
Supported entirely by resting upon the ridge bone and palate in the case of
uppers Retained by fitting into undercut areas.
Least costly investment initially - do require relines recommended about every
year at the start then about every three years on the average.
Teeth wear, bone resorbs so that a new denture is typically needed after every 5
years May require adhesive paste to provide additional retention initially for
major chewing and later for all eating and speaking.
Ridge bone continues to be lost due to two reasons:
Atrophy - lack of use since no more tooth roots embedded in bone.
Resorption - forces upon bone as denture shifts during chewing causes stress.
This is magnified and accelerated the longer the denture is worn without relining
and the more unbalanced the bite is from the start (over bite, irregularities) or
has become due to uneven wear of the teeth (especially a problem when various
teeth oppose the denture - some natural enamel, some porcelain, various types
of filling materials).
Dentures must be made and maintained in harmony with the surrounding
muscles. The tongue is an especially important factor in having success with lower
dentures Denture can be made to be attractive and natural looking.
When initially fitted dentures allow about 25% of the chewing force possible with
strong full set of natural teeth.
Undercuts give dentures retention but also can be a source of sore spots.
Over Denture
Two or more teeth with reasonably healthy bone and gum tissue can be saved so
that a denture can be retained over them - The denture is still completely
supported by resting on the gums and underlying bone The remaining teeth
provide retention only.
Saving teeth also saves bone thus avoiding even more atrophy - the bone stays
around the roots as long as forces are normal.
The denture can be retained by a variety of options: silicone rubber, O- Rings or
"snap" attachments, Clips on a bar.
Teeth saved must be in good condition and must be maintained by good home
care and professional cleanings in order to make this feasible.
Attachments work well when there are poor existing undercut areas and / or very
strong muscles wanting to dislodge the denture.
The forces used when chewing should still be within the 25 - 35% range. Care
should be used in type of food and force used so that the attachments and
remaining tooth roots are not overloaded. A night time retainer or second
denture is often made to prevent clenching upon the attachments while sleeping.
Full Denture with Mini Implants
Denture is supported by the gums and bone Implants provide retention typically
by silicone rubber or attachments like a snap.
The Mini Implants help prevent further atrophy of the ridge bone since the
implant acts similar to a tooth root.
Mini Implants are great when teeth are not available, are in poor condition, or are
poorly spaced for proper balance and stability.
Mini Implants are usually one piece - that is implant and abutment all in one.
Mini Implants are indicated in the lower front area due to their size and the type
of bone density found in this area - which is typically the densest bone in the
mouth.
In some cases the denture can be fit to be retained by the implants in the same
appointment due to the dense bone allowing for immediate stability.
Full Denture supported with Bars
Four or more standard size implants are strategically placed and joined by bars
that are screwed down to the implants forming a frame. The denture has
retention clips that fit over the bar usually in 2 - 4 places. In this case the denture
rests upon the bar and is passive to the gum and bone tissues.
Dentures supported by bars can typically allow 50 - 60 % of maximum chewing
force (based on natural teeth).
Dentures are removed for cleaning. Implants and bars require cleaning with brush
and floss with moderate effort needed. As with any Implant, professional exam
and cleaning are recommended every 6 months and in some cases every 3-4.
Fixed Denture
Four or more standard size implants are placed and joined by bars similar to the
above clip on but removable denture over bars. In this case, however, the denture
is screwed onto the bar and not removable by the patient. These appliances allow
60 - 80% of maximum chewing ability. Since they can not be removed for cleaning
after each meal, the denture borders are raised off the gum tissue enough to
allow floss to pass under the base. Also frequent brisk rinsing and use of an
irrigator such as a "Water-Pik" are highly recommended for cleaning several times
each day.
The bar under-structure is similar to the previous over denture however the
denture is not removable by the patient since it is screwed down to the bars.
Long Span Fixed Bridges
Multiple single crowns allow best appearance and easiest flossing.
Implants can also be abutments for several bridge sections or one long span
bridge for the entire arch.
These restorations allow maximum cosmetic appearance since the crowns are
made from porcelain which has natural translucency, many shades are available
and shades can be custom blended.
These restorations are the strongest and can deliver 80 - 90% chewing force.
Excellent daily home care is needed just like when a patient has many remaining
natural teeth heavily restored by crowns or bridges. That means flossing between
the implants.
Implants help maintain jaw bone since they give the bone a purpose - the bone in
use with normal amount of force stays healthy - similar to exercising for muscles
and joints.
In many cases a patient wears a partial or full denture as a temporary when they
ultimately plan to have implants as their long term tooth replacement. Having
good fitting and nice appearing partial or full dentures prevents further damage
to remaining teeth and also protects implants as they heal within the bone.
Having a good partial or full denture and also a dentist who knows how to
customize and modify them, can be a great advantage when a patient desires
implants but will need a year or even much longer before completion.
BRACES
 Invisalign
 Damon Braces
 Ceramic Braces
 Lingual Braces
 Metal Braces
Invisalign
Consider Invisalign to get the beautiful straight teeth you've always wanted —
without braces. A consultation with SS DENTAL n MEDICAL CENTRE can determine
if Invisalign is right for you.
What is it?
Invisalign uses a series of invisible, removable, and comfortable aligners that no
one can tell you're wearing. So, you can smile more during treatment as well as
after. Invisalign is made with 3-D computer imaging technology and has been
proven effective. More than 70% of orthodontists in the US and Canada are
certified to treat with Invisalign.
Damon Braces
Damon braces allow your teeth to move more comfortably and easily than
traditional braces. Thanks to these innovative new braces, achieving your perfect
smile will be faster and easier than you ever thought possible.
The Damon System is not just about revolutionary braces and wires, it's a whole
new way of treating patients. Traditional treatment often requires removal of
healthy teeth and/or the use of palatal expanders to make space. This approach is
often uncomfortable, takes longer, and can leave a narrower arch and a flat
profile. Damon smiles are full, natural 10-tooth smiles achieved with light
biologically-sensible forces, and are specifically designed to improve the overall
facial result of each patient.
Braces are the beginning, but the system makes the smile.
Certified Damon System doctors combine three key components, which when
used together, deliver faster treatment, fewer appointments, greater comfort,
and consistent high-quality results:
Damon passive self-legating braces that eliminate the need for elastic or metal
"ties". With Damon tie-less braces you can experience treatment without
tightening.
Light high-technology shape-memory wires that move teeth faster and require
fewer adjustments.
A new clinically proven treatment approach that aligns your teeth and enhances
your facial aesthetics—usually without extractions or rapid palatal expanders.
Traditional braces on the left are tied in with elastics, which cause friction and
pressure, making treatment slower and less comfortable. Damon braces use a
slide mechanism to hold the wire, which allows teeth to move more freely,
quickly and comfortably.
How Long Do I Wear Braces?
With the Damon System, treatment time is typically shorter than with
conventional braces. And shorter treatment time means fewer appointments and
a beautiful smile...faster. You may be surprised at how fast.
* 6 months shorter treatment time*
Ceramic Braces
Ceramic brackets are made of composite materials. They are very strong and
generally do not stain. Three popular brands are Clarity and Transcend, made by
3M Unitek; and Mystique, made by GAC. Adults like to choose ceramic because
they "blend in" with the teeth and are less noticeable than metal. These are the
type of braces actor Tom Cruise had.
The ligatures (tiny rubber bands) that hold the arch wire on to the ceramic
brackets are often white or clear. This looks great at first, but the ligatures can
stain (see the Help! Did I Stain My Braces?). Unless you eat a lot of curry, smoke,
or drink a lot of black coffee, this generally isn't a problem. Note that the ligatures
are changed each time you get an adjustment -- usually, monthly. It's only the
ligatures that stain, not the brackets themselves!
Lingual Braces
Lingual braces are placed behind your teeth, and are therefore virtually invisible
to other people. Usually, lingual brackets are made of metal.
Orthodontists need special training to be able to treat patients with lingual
braces. Therefore, not every orthodontist provides them. To find an orthodontist
who provides lingual braces, ask your dentist or search Google for the phrase
lingual braces along with the name of your state, country, or location.
Metal Braces
Metal brackets can be silver or golden. The golden brackets look a bit more
"jewelry-like" and are often a popular choice with young women.
Metal brackets are very strong and can withstand most types of treatment. At
first they may irritate your gums, but after a few weeks, when your cheeks get
"toughened up" they are not a problem anymore. Most traditional metal braces
require an elastic o-shaped rubber band, called a ligature to hold the arch wire
onto the bracket. Sometimes orthodontists use metal tie wires (little wires which
are twisted around the bracket) in place of elastic ligatures.
In the "old days", metal braces were not just brackets, but bands that wrapped
around the entire tooth. Nowadays, people wear small metal brackets that are
glued to the front of each tooth (a big improvement!) Those old-fashioned bands
are usually reserved for molars or teeth with fillings that spill to the outside
surface of a tooth. Metal brackets tend to be less expensive than other types of
brackets. In addition, you can make them colorful with ligatures that come on a
rainbow of colors.
The younger or more adventurous set may be interested in orthodontic metal
brackets that come in interesting shapes like hearts, flowers, footballs, baseballs,
and stars.
Dental Jewelry at The SS Dental n Medical Centre
Teeth Jewelry are glass crystals, real 18k white gold and 24k or 22k yellow gold
jewels, designed specifically for dental use.
The crystals have a special coating on the back and their facet cut reflects the light
and makes it sparkle like a diamond.
Unlike earlier methods which involved drilling and setting the jewel into the
tooth, a little bit of dental composite material will attach the crystal onto the
teeth and last up to a year or longer.

Place Near Delhi
Taj Mahal - Agra:
Applauded as the zenith of medieval architectures, the Taj Mahal nestling on the shifting sands of the
shimmering Yamuna, is most alluring in the relative quietness of early morning, shrouded mists as the
colour changes from soft yellow to pearly cream and then the most dazzling white. The Taj Mahal is
generally considered as the finest example of Mughal architecture, a style that combines elements of
Persian, Indian and Islamic craftsmenship. Built by emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Mumtaz
Mahal, the Taj Mahal has become a epitome of love because of the romance of its inspiration. This
enduring icon of India, which even today captures the imagination of billions across the world, is indeed
a fascination to experience on your next visit to India.
Jaisalmer Fort - Rajasthan:
The Famous Jaisalmer Fort in India is steeping out of the vast spread of barren sandy tract looks like a
tower of survival in the land of in-existence with its golden crenelated walls outlined against a sapphire
blue sky. The fort atop the Trikuta (triangular) Hill along with its spartan domain and aureate walls, still
calls for the caravan of traders who used to cruise across the mighty desert centuries ago. It is
fascinating to wander around this living fort, packed with houses, temples, handicraft shops, beauty
parlors and honeycombed with narrow, winding lanes, all of them paved in stone. Trek through these
slender lanes where vehicles are not allowed and even building materials have to be carried up by camel
cart. The streets of Jaisalmer holds many secrets in their sleeves, try to cognize their silence who orate a
lot about the golden era.
