DEFINITION
Code Team is multidisciplinary
team that responds to code calls.
Purposes of Code Team
Notification and availability of Members
 Avoid confusions and panic
 Optimal care in minimal time limits


Code Team Requirements
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
 Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) .
 Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS) .
 All Code team members and emergency
nurses must be familiar with the code cart
contents .

