Your Health Care Team
James Cancer Hospital
Many people work together to provide your care. Here is a description
of the different members of your health care team. Use this handout to
write down their names and phone numbers.
The James Cancer Hospital is a teaching hospital. Your health care team
may include staff that is in training. Staff may rotate when there is a
“change in service” which means you may have another doctor who will
provide your care when this change happens.

A nurse with advanced
training who may do
procedures and prescribe
medicine.
