I am a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with Natural Resources Management and
Environmental Science background. I have thorough understanding of relevant national and
international environmental laws. I have excellent communication, organizational and
leadership skills. I am an effective team builder and player with the ability to relate to people
at all levels and work well under pressure to meet deadlines, placing highest priority on
excellence. I have over six (6) years experience in the ports and maritime sector with
specialization in environmental management and coordination. I have also been involved in
environmental awareness training and capacity building programmes on hazardous waste
shipment control and management for ports and maritime stakeholders. I have also acquired
considerable skills and practical experience in Environmental and Social Impact Assessment
(ESIA) projects, and been involved in ESIA studies for some major projects in fisheries, oil and
gas development, energy generation and transmission. Achievements throughout my career
have been most constructive and rewarding:

Currently working with the Ports Environmental Network-Africa (PENAf) as Programme
Coordinator (September 2009 – Present), and TTV Limited as Environment Supervisor (June
2015 – Present).

National Programme Coordinator for the Development of Tools to Counter Illegal Trade and
Management of Waste (DOTCOM Waste) Project (An European Commission sponsored
project aimed at building the capacity of regulatory and enforcement agencies to combat
transnational waste crime) (Jan 2016 – present).

Member of the Panel of Experts on Strategic Assessment of Port Environmental Issues,
Policies and Programs in West, Central and Southern Africa (January 2015 - Present).

Member of the National Subcommittee tasked to investigate the incidence of increased whale
