I have over six (6) years experience in the ports and maritime sector with specialization in environmental management and coordination. I have also been involved in environmental awareness training and capacity building programmes on hazardous waste shipment control and management for ports and maritime stakeholders. I have also acquired considerable skills and practical experience in Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) projects, and been involved in ESIA studies for some major projects in fisheries, oil and gas development, energy generation and transmission. Achievements throughout my career have been most constructive and rewarding: Currently working with the Ports Environmental Network-Africa (PENAf) as Programme Coordinator (September 2009 – Present), and TTV Limited as Environment Supervisor (June 2015 – Present).
