Dear Friends and Colleagues,
It is our great pleasure to invite you to the autumn meeting of the “EORTCGastrointestinal Tract Cancer Collaborative Group".
The primary purpose of this meeting is to accelerate our progress in the fight
against GI cancer and to improve our international scientific collaborations
between all European countries in this rapidly advancing field.
This meeting will be hosted at the Haus Kupferberg at Kupferberg terrace, in
close proximity of the University Hospital of Mainz.
Here we will bring together all of you, i.e. gastroenterologists, oncologists,
surgeons, radio-oncologists, laboratory scientists, pathologists, statisticians,
EORTC representatives as well as colleagues from the pharmaceutical industry,
providing the opportunity for a maximum of interaction and discussion.
Within these two days, you will not only enjoy our hospitality but also be able to
attend special social events. On Thursday and Friday evening you will have the
opportunity to enjoy the beauty and the charm of the old Roman city of Mainz as
well as the German wine garden Rheingau with the well known Eberbach
Monastery, one of Europe’s first Cistercian settlements.
The Symposium on Saturday morning will be held as official scientific meeting,
