Radiology Associates of Tampa is Pleased to Announce the Addition of
JoAnn M. Gierbolini, MD, Carlos A. Rojas, MD,
John C. Feldman, MD, & Peter J. Sunenshine, MD
Dr. Gierbolini completed her bachelor’s degree program magna cum laude at Creighton University in
Omaha, Nebraska, she then received her medical training at the University’s School of Medicine. She
then completed her internship in Internal Medicine at the University of Kansas Medical Center in
Kansas City, Kansas, before completing her residency at the University of South Florida locally in
Tampa, FL. Dr. Gierbolini also completed a Breast Imaging Fellowship at USF as well. She is
licensed in Florida and is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, the American
College of Radiology, the Radiological Society of North America, and the Florida Radiological
Society.

Dr. Rojas received his medical training at the Colegio Mayor de Nuestra

Senora Del Rosario in Bogota, Colombia. He then completed both his internBreast Imaging
ship and residency in Diagnostic Radiology, locally at the University of South

Florida, College of Medicine in Tampa, FL. Dr. Rojas also completed a
Cardiovascular Fellowship with Harvard School of Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital in
Boston, MA, while also receiving additional training in Pulmonary Imaging. He then continued his
Pulmonary Imaging Training with National Jewish Health in Denver, CO. He is licensed in both
Massachusetts and Florida, certified by the American Board of Radiology, and has a certificate of
added qualification by the American College of Radiology in Cardiac CT.
John C. Feldman, M.D.
Carlos A. Rojas, M.D.

Dr. Feldman served in the United States Marine Corps as part of Air Traffic
Control in Beaufort, SC. He then received his Bachelors in Microbiology and
as an undergrad, Dr. Feldman was a part of the Flow Cytometry Research Core at H. Lee Moffitt
Cancer Research Hospital here in Tampa. He then went on to complete his medical degree locally at
the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL. He then completed both his internship in internal
medicine and residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Florida College of Medicine in
Gainesville, FL. Dr. Feldman also completed a Cross Sectional Imaging Fellowship in Body Imaging
with the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL. He is licensed in the state of Florida and certified by the
American Board of Radiology and the Mammography Quality Standards Act.

Dr. Sunenshine received his Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering &
Applied Mechanics at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA,
and went on to complete his medical degree at the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey
in Newark, NJ. After graduation he began his post-graduate training in a combined Neurology,
Radiology, & Neuroradiology Program and then completed his Fellowship in Neurointerventional
Radiology, both at the New York University Medical Center in New York, NY. He is licensed in the
state of Florida, New York, New Jersey, Arizona, California, Wisconsin, and Ohio. Dr. Sunenshine is
a board-certified Radiologist designated by the American Board of Radiology with a Certificate of
Added Qualification in Neuroradiology and is also a board-certified Neurolgist designated by the
American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology. He is also an active member of the American Society of:
Neuroradiology, Head & Neck Imaging, and Spine Radiology as well as the Society of
Neurointerventional Surgery, American Medical Association and the New York Roentgen Society.
