Your team’s job is to prepare a presentation to educate your classmates about one of the body systems that
makes up the human body. Your presentation must include the following requirements:
I.
II.
III.
IV.
Introduction: tell the name of the organ system and describe the major functions
Diagram: provide a diagram of your body system with the major parts or organs labeled with their
name and functions.
Teamwork: explain how your body system works with others in the body
Fun Facts: find 5 fun facts about your body system or its parts.
Each team will also be provided with a Body System Checklist of important terms or items that must be
included in the presentation. Teams may use textbooks or online resources to research their organ system.
Teams will need to create a PowerPoint presentation and fill-in-the-blank worksheet with a diagram of your
system. The PowerPoint presentation must be submitted via email to your teacher by the assigned time/date.
One hardcopy of your handout must be submitted to your teacher by the end of the class period on the last day
allotted for this project. The presentation must consist of at least 5-6, but no more than 8, slides – not
including the title slide.

Information
o Introduction
 Did you provide the name of your organ system?
 Did you give descriptions of the major functions of your system?
o Diagram
 Did you provide a diagram of your body system with the major parts or organs labeled?
 Did you give descriptions of the functions of each organ?
o Teamwork (at least 3 examples)
 Did you share examples and give descriptions of interactions with other body systems?
o Fun Facts
 Did you provide five facts (or more) about your body system or its parts?
o Other Information
 Did you include all the information listed on your Body System Checklist?
Worksheet (one side of one page ONLY!)
o Did the worksheet include a diagram and the functions of each part of the body system?
Presentation
o Did you have at least 5-6 slides (not counting the title slide) and no more than 8?
o Did the slides enhance the presentation? Don’t put in too much fancy stuff or use too many words on
each slide. Keep it simple! You must talk during the presentation – use that time to share details.
o Was the information presented in an organized manner?
o Did you “know” the information? You should know the information well enough that you do not need
to read it word-for-word off note cards or the slides.
o Did you present to the class? Don’t talk to the screen!
o
Did you practice? Be sure to run through your presentation a few times before you present to the class!
