Dear Future AP World History Student,
First, we’d like to say “Welcome!” and thank you for expressing an interest in AP World History
for next year. It is expected of AP students to complete the required summer reading for their
advanced level coursework.
Due to the rigor of AP World History, your required summer reading for this class is the first
two chapters in your AP book. These can be found on both Ms. O’Keefe and Mrs. Tyler-Smith’s
websites as a PDF.
If you will not have access to the internet over the summer, please contact either Mrs. Patti
Tyler-Smith or Ms. Misti O’Keefe. We are in classrooms A135 and A133, respectively.
If you have a flash drive, you can come to either of our classrooms and we will be happy to put
the material on it for you. Also, if you’d like for the assignment to be e-mailed to you, please
follow the directions below.
