3. You can’t earn God’s grace-it is a free gift.

GO Comfort Others
1. We need to take the awkwardness out of suffering.

2. Sort out what you believe about death and suffering.
If you had been here, my brother would not have died. But I know
that even now God will give you whatever you ask. John 11:21

How do you feel when you are around those who are
suffering?
What do you believe about death and suffering?
Where can you be more present?
3. Jesus offers life amidst the heartache.
I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me
will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in
me will never die.

4. Be present. Share in suffering.
