Action
Begin each morning with this prayer:
Lord stir my heart
To see with your eyes
Empower my hands
To show your love.

Ephesians 2:6-10
Give Away Your Inheritance
1. We have become accustomed to weak faith.
And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the
heavenly realms in Christ Jesus.
Ephesians 2:6
Read study verse for the day.
2. Jesus is the way we understand the kindness of God.
Mediate on these questions:
How would you describe your faith to someone? Are
you convinced your faith is strong?
..;in order that in the coming ages he might show the
incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us
in Christ Jesus.
Ephesians 2:7
What will you do to make it stronger?
How would your perspective change if you sought God
through the trouble?
3. You can’t earn God’s grace-it is a free gift.
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this is
not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-not by works, so that no
one can boast..
Ephesians 2:8-9

tomb for four days.

2. Sort out what you believe about death and suffering.
If you had been here, my brother would not have died. But I know
that even now God will give you whatever you ask. John 11:21
Read study verse for the day.
Mediate on these questions:
How do you feel when you are around those who are
suffering?
What do you believe about death and suffering?
Where can you be more present?
3. Jesus offers life amidst the heartache.
I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me
will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in
me will never die.
John 11:25
4. Be present. Share in suffering.
