Gemini Mythology
• By all accounts, the twins represented in Gemini mythology
are Castor and Pollux of Greek mythology. They have the
same mother, Leda but have different fathers. Castor's
father is Tyndarus, the King of Sparta, and Leda's
husband. Pollux's father is the god Zeus. As such, Pollux is
an immortal while his twin brother Castor is mortal.
• The twins were young, handsome, and adventurous. They
took part in many adventures together and were well known
for their livelihood and curiosity. Castor was a renowned
horseman, while Pollux was known for his great strength.
Gemini Mythology
• Where Gemini mythology comes into play is when Castor,
being mortal, finally dies. Having spent their whole lives
together, Pollux is distraught. He doesn't want to live
without his twin brother, but since he is immortal, there is
nothing he can do. He begs his father, Zeus, for help.
• Zeus decides that rather than killing Pollux so he can be with
Castor, he makes Castor immortal also, and the two of them
get to live together forever as the constellation Gemini.

Pisces Mythology
• In this Greek myth, the monster Typhon descends upon Mount Olympus
threatening all of the gods and goddesses, who flee from their home As
Typhon approaches, the goddess Aphrodite and her son Eros find
themselves in need of escape.
• Here's where you get to choose your own adventure. According to
different versions of this legend, either Aphrodite and Eros turn into fish,
two fish approach them and swim them away to safety, or they turn into
fish AND two other fish take them to safety. Whichever version you
prefer, truth be told, it doesn't really matter. One way or another, the
two escape from Typhon thanks to two fish.
• These two fish were later honored by being placed in the heavens as the
constellation Pisces. It is for this reason that I tend to believe that there
were two fish who were not Aphrodite and Eros, since during Typhon's
assault on Mount Olympus, the other gods turned into animals as well,
and were not turned into constellations.
Pisces Meaning
• The most emotional, yet reasonable of all 12 zodiac signs. Pisces have
some of the most abstract and spiritual dreams which greatly reflects on
their unique personalities and makes them stand out from the rest of the
signs. However they can be easily misled, weak willed and escapist. They
live idealistically but can be very hopeful and faithful. Their emotions
play an major role on their decision making, which is usually why things
only get worse when Pisces are going through tough times. However do
not be fooled by their weaknesses for they are excessively intuitive and
observant. A smart Pisces can catch a liar in a heartbeat, which makes
them great detectives and lawyers. Their emotions are the most valuable
to them and they will do what ever it takes to avoid emotional pain.
• Pisces has a heightened sense for catching a liar or fake before you can
hurt their feelings or lead them on. If you are in love with a Pisces you
will have to stay faithful and remain caring, in return they will do the
same.
TO GOD BE THE GLORY!
