1.0 ABOUT US
1.1 General Introduction
Avatech Consult is a multi-disciplined Consulting Engineering firm specializing in Civil,
Structural, Water, Environmental and Services Engineering. We provide consulting
engineering services to the public and private sectors with emphasis on quality and economic
designs.
In May 2013, Avatech Consult was formed. We are a second generation consulting firm. Our
predecessor firm was Kobera Engineering and was originally established in 2009 by Eng.
E.Omondi. The company prides itself for employing only the best technical resources from
the built environment industry to provide the best possible service for our clients.
Our staff is our most important assets. We recognize that our clients procure our services
because they have confidence in us. We know that the only way to meet their needs is by
delivering good quality products and services.
Our present technical staff includes three registered professional Engineers, three Graduate
Engineers, One Water and Sanitation Engineer, Four Diploma Civil and Water Engineers,
one Diploma Architect and two designer/Cad operators. Our experience includes Structural
design projects, Water and wastewater engineering designs, Contracts Administration and
Projects Management for numerous projects in Kenya. Our unique qualification and
experience in design and supervision of EPS technology houses gives us a great mileage in the
market.
We utilize state of the art computerization to accomplish our design projects and project
management. The use of CADD systems provides us with enhanced production quality, lower
operating costs and closer engineer participation thereby ensuring a higher quality product for
the owner. We use SismiCad and ConcreCad to analyze and design our EPS technology
projects.
To reinforce our emphasis on quality in all our Engineering designs, the company uses an
internal quality assurance/quality control system and interfaces with designers from
complimentary disciplines to review standards and specifications for specific project needs.

The Company strives to establish itself as the preferred service provider for the provision of
consulting services in Project Management, general Civil Engineering and Water infrastructure
services. A close relationship with like-minded companies and specialist individual consultants
permits Avatech to form project specific teams to allow the firm to provide a “one stop shop”
to our valued clients.
