Revert to an old Java Version.
1. Go to the Windows Control Panel then select Add/Remove Programs (Windows
XP) or Programs and Features (Windows Vista/Windows 7)
2. Remove or Uninstall all versions of Java listed in the Programs listing
3. Download and install the old version of Java that you wish to use.
a. Go to http://java.sun.com/products/archive/. This page allows you to
select any version of the Java Platform Standard Edition back to
J2RE 1.2.
b. Look under the section "Java Platform Standard Edition (Java SE)",
select the desired(6 update 14) version from the dropdown beside
JDK/JRE 6, and click Go (the direct link to the most recent previous
version is
http://java.sun.com/products/archive/j2se/6u21/index.html)
c. Click on Download JRE
d. Choose Windows as your platform, agree to the Java SE Runtime
Environment License, and click Continue
e. Download the file (in this example, jre-6u21-windows-i586.exe)
either by clicking directly on its name or using the Sun Download
Manager)
f. Double click the downloaded file to install this version of Java on
your machine
4. You can now restart your browser and verify that the java version is
changed by clicking on the Check Your Browser link on the eClass login
page
