Objective: Students will notice that the measure of each interior angle of a polygon will
increase as the number of sides increases. They should also notice that the measure of
each interior angle will approach 180 degrees as the number of sides increases.
Class: This activity is designed for any level geometry class.
Time: This should only take the students about 3-5 minutes to investigate the worksheet.
It would take another 5 minutes of class discussion to go over the answers.
Extension: This activity is designed to lead into finding the actual measures of the
interior angles and exterior angles of regular convex polygons.
