Task: To create a vocabulary review book that defines and illustrates earth science terms. Your book will count as a test score. Directions: Create a title page with your name, Earth Science ________(period), and date on it. Create a page for each letter below. A full page or more may be used for each letter. No letter should be less than a page. Each page should contain the following: a) Each vocabulary term and its scientific definition. This must be handwritten. Research shows writing in longhand helps long-term memory. b) Illustrate/create visuals for each word. You may draw them, cut out pictures from magazines, or use computer images. c) Create a multiple choice question with 4 answer choices for each page. The question should be based on vocabulary on that page. Your question should use proper capitalization, punctuation, and grammar. (Suggestion: Type it and spell check it for these issues before writing it into your booklet.) Please write the correct answer to your question below the question. You can do this is a flip-up style if you wish. If you need to borrow a glue stick, let Ms. Leggett know. d) Each page should be colorful and neat. e) Up to 5 points awarded for an extraordinary, super alphabet book.
